I said I am happy and I mean it

It was an eventful day.

Have finally started the classes of the two new units. So far so good. Monday's better. Students seemed to enjoy it more. Having students to come and thank me personally did justice to all those hard work, burnt weekends, sleepless nights and pimples that I've had. What's more heartwarming is the fact that she's a mature local student (who is generally stereotyped as being more demanding)... so I'm happy. Today's lesson is not as lively... content is boring... who wants to be taught how to turn on computers.. OMG... but still, we did it... n survived. They seemed rather forgiving over the pain or boredom I subject them to. Tmr can take a short afternoon break. Happy. Gota rush stuff too... n that quit smoking campaign thgy, yoga class thgy... honestly I dun mind.. seemed quite fun.

Had a great dinner with the usual bunch of fun guys from ex-s******e. Ex-boss paid for it.. so pai seh.. Must buy him next time. As usual lots of bitching, catching up, and nice food at MOF. Reasonably priced japanese food and GREEEEEEAT dessert.. I love that jelly, moshi, fruits, ice-cream combi... must go again.. I ordered set meal, came with dessert and coffee. And they give u the coffee/tea voucher which u can use on the next or current visit. Unlike other restaurants make u take the coffee, even if u r full. Happy.

Trying to get things done... need to type faster

Received a lovely package from J... but the colour Jet is more green than the one I saw from her site and there's some dust/fiber in the pack.. a bit of disappointment here

It's a new start

For once, it's a Human Resource policy that's humane... after all that hell I've gone through.. phew... Hope the new start is also a good start. The colleagues seem nice & friendly. Since it's gonna be external exam, so no nonsense.. A real test of my ability & delivery. Honestly I'm really stressed out... I'm sure the students are going to compare lecturers, passing rates, notes.. blah blah blah... OMG

On a lighter note, I'm happy that I've finally done a wearable shawl... after so many years of knitting.. *embarrassed* very happy with it.
